History

Since the start of 2020, CZ-AUTO SYSTEMS a.s. has been a part of the Česká zbrojovka Partners SE holding, which includes AIT Group - Advanced Industrial Technology Group a.s. Until then, CZ-AUTO was one of the production divisions of the Česká zbrojovka joint-stock company, which has more than 80 years of experience in machining and which focuses especially on manufacturing of small firearms, which are exported to more than 90 countries all over the world.

On the other hand, CZ-AUTO focuses on the automotive and aviation industries and mechanical engineering. The company has already more than 45 years of experience in the aviation industry, and it ranks among the leading Czech companies with an international overreach.

In the field of aviation industry, CZ-AUTO engages in production of aircraft transmissions, which was started in 1970s. At that time, the transmissions, propeller gears and drive cases were part of the M601 engine, which was used as a propelling unit of the popular Czech L-410 Turbolet airplanes. The transmissions went through gradual modernization, and they have become the basis for the modernized H-80 engine.

As for the automotive industry, CZ-AUTO has been active in this field since 1999. It serves as a Tier 2 supplier, certified for the automotive industry, and specializes in cost-effective large-scale production of special aluminium components (fittings) for air-conditioning systems of cars and trucks.
